Alison Duffy Expand Alison Duffy has a broad range of senior management experience and a track record of driving operational excellence and regulatory compliance within complex and evolving environments in both corporates and not-for-profits. She has a deep knowledge of the Charity Sector having previously worked in National and International Charities building extensive experience in corporate governance, financial management, risk, and HR. She has MSc in Business (Leadership and Management Practice) and most recently completed a Diploma in Corporate Governance from UCD's Michael Smurfit Business School. She is a Fellow Chartered Accountant and holds diplomas in Risk, Strategy and Organisation Change.
Ambrose Duffy Expand Ambrose Duffy joined the Foundation board in 2024, bringing over 25 years of experience in the non-profit sector. He has held senior roles across organizations such as Concern Worldwide, UNICEF Ireland, Gorta-Self Help Africa, Christian Aid, Plan International, and Focus Ireland. With expertise in fundraising, communications, CRM systems, and team leadership, Ambrose is experienced in fostering supporter engagement and promoting best practices. As a former board member of Charities Institute Ireland, he contributed to the development of professional fundraising qualifications in the country.
Shan Kelly Expand Shan Kelly is a communications professional with a background in journalism, media relations, content management and digital and social strategy development. Shan has experience of creating memorable and engaging social media campaigns for businesses, start-ups and not-for-profit groups. Shan has worked with Irish charities, start-ups, community and voluntary sector organizations to successfully develop digital media strategies focused on stakeholder engagement, fundraising, event planning, and management since 2008. Shan joined the St John of Gods Foundation Board as a Trustee in 2023, and she is enjoying learning about how the foundation operates, and about the broad range of mental health support services that the foundation contributes to.
Neil Dalton Expand St John of God Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Neil Dalton to its board. With a background in the transformation of brands and strategic planning, Neil brings a wealth of experience in driving growth and customer engagement through integrated activation plans. Throughout his career, Neil has successfully managed teams, created and executed programs, and delivered exceptional results. His expertise in managing customer journeys and implementing digital sales ecosystems has led to remarkable achievements, including the development of CUPRA, Volkswagen Group's first start-up automotive car brand for Irish customers. Neil Dalton holds a degree in Business, a degree in Marketing, and recently completed a Masters in Business Studies at the IMI. His strong analytical skills, knowledge of database marketing, project management abilities, and expertise in e-commerce will prove instrumental in his role at St John of Gods Foundation.
