Ruth tries to not let anything get in the way of her determination to live life to the full. But the day centre in Dundalk which Ruth currently attends is not meeting her needs. It’s too small. Too lacking in privacy. There’s no room to invite the local community in, depriving Ruth and her friends of the chance to build important connections. It doesn’t have the facilities needed to nurture creativity and self-expression, which are so vital to physical and emotional well-being.
