Carmona Community Services (part of St. John of God Community Services) in Glenageary provides support for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

They offer early-intervention and therapy services, a special school, preschool, day programmes, residential and supported-living options, and respite care. Their focus is person-centred support, family involvement, community inclusion, and lifelong development.

Vehicle Replacement

Our current fleet is aging significantly, with approximately 70% of vehicles over 15 years old. This presents ongoing reliability, maintenance, and safety concerns. We are urgently seeking funding for a replacement vehicle, estimated at €25,000 for a suitable second-hand option or €55,000 for a new vehicle.

Accessible Garden – Granville Residential Property

Service users in Granville currently have limited access to the garden area due to uneven ground and accessibility challenges. We are seeking support to develop a fully accessible outdoor space, promoting inclusion and wellbeing for residents. The estimated cost of this project is €20,000.

Angels Quest Children’s Respite Service
Our Children’s Respite Centre requires exterior painting and refresh works to brighten and uplift the environment for the children attending the service. This will enhance the overall therapeutic and welcoming atmosphere. The estimated cost for this refurbishment is €12,000.

Angels Quest Respite provides short term planned breaks for children/young people between the ages of 5 years and 11 months and 18 years old. The service provides support to children with a wide spectrum of disabilities ranging from moderate to severe/profound. These breaks support both children/young people, and their families to spend some time focusing on the things they each enjoy. Angels Quest aims to provide a ‘home away from home’ atmosphere with friendly, welcoming staff, and a warm and cosy environment.
